    1. A great equalizer...if you have a 'puter and internet service (cheaper than a motor cycle, come on)

    2. He would have taught himself how to hack government websites

    3. He would have driven himself crazy putting parental controls on Hildita's 'puter

    4. Screen name...CubaLibre

    5. Poetry sharing websites

    6. Downloading cool pictures of Machu Pichu

    7. He would have loved his fansites

    8. He could apply on-line to renew his medical licences

    9. On-line, real-time sugar production statistics

    10. Travelocity.com for those worldwide trips he never got to take

    Anyone disagree?

I don't know if he would have loved the fan sites.
He'd most likely tell us to stop the talking and get on with it.

Ah, you could be a writer on the David Letterman staff.

I heard those parental controls really suck. But I think he would have loved the Internet all the same. The World Wide Web is a treasure trove of virtual cigar shops! (And health sites, if he ever wanted to kick himself for having such a bad habit.) It makes obscure writings available all over the globe, sometimes for free. It makes it much easier to share ideas with people or debate with them.

Has anyone seen the FBI's FOIA website? Abbie Hoffman's file is priceless.

I am sure he would have used it as a rally cry to 'net-revolutionaries.

But how would he view the sale of merchandise - patricularly when one method of payment is with American Express - a bit hypocritical don't you think. [By the way I fully appreciate that their are running costs involved in a web site of this magnitude and it is not a criticism...]

Che: Hildita, come on, log off... it's getting late
Hildita: Wait, Papa, I want to see if I got the winning bid on Ebay for those Ricky Martin pants
Che: Hildita! I told you before, online auctions are a capitalist abomination!! And why on earth do you say you "win" something when you have to pay for it?
Hildita: He wore them in Miami,... Armani... leather...
Che: Hilda, talk to your daughter!! Hilda!!
Hilda: One moment, Che, I'm just opening this box from victoriassecret.com.....
Che: Ok, I can live with that....

Che would certainly have utilised the internet; one of the reasons he was so successful is the fact that he could use what was available to him effectively.

I'm not trying to start anything, but why do you keep dragging these old posts up ? They're kind of stupid.
