Che was a guerrilla not a terrorist. Big distinction.

Che joined a formally banded and organized army, and also wore a uniform. There is also no evidence that I know of that Che planned to terrorize the civilian population, just overthrow the government.

I don't believe that Che could be considered a terrorist.

I think somewhere in "Guerrilla Warfare' Che makes a distinction b/t terrorism and acts of sabotage and he saw that terrorism was ineffective and indiscriminate in that it took the lives of innocent people.

Che was considered a terrorist by the USA during his revolutions. Many people still consider him a terrorist but he doesnt fit the definition at all...

the term terrorist is so vague today that if he were alive today.....they probably would label him a terrorist......... the goal of West is to label any opposing military militia as a terrorist group.........but does he fit the definition...........no.......not at all

Realistically, Che Guevera was not a terrorist. But by the opressors standards, he was a terrorist. 'Terrorist' is a label used by a government to demote a certain group of 'undesirables' or people that itnerfere with their methods, just like criminal. If you went to germany during World War II and asked a person what a jewish person was, he would say that they are 'criminals'. It's a label. Jesus was considered a 'terrorist' by the rulers of Rome. Like I said.. It's a label.. Che is not a terrorist.. That's just something people call him to look bad.

Che did not believe in terrorist, he said so in notes he wrote on his trip through Africa. Like Cobber said he made a distinction between terrorist and sabotage. Terrorist was evil and thereofre aginst the freeing of the ppl. And was counterproductive because the ppl would have hated the communists if they were being blown up.

I understand that. I wouldn't have minded the pentagon being destroyed entirely if it was unoccupied. Mainly because it represents the excessive need for war funding, and military. However, I too am upstet about the death, mainly because the people killed in the World Trade Center were not all rich. The majority of them were the workding class, the proletariot, so I was saddened at the death. I became even more saddened when people sated to think that the best way to 'get even' would be to kill more innocent people.

Che was a terrorist, but a terrorist whose heart felt for the people. Che was a warrior who fired the rifle so that people may have freedom. The shot of his gun echoed from Cuba to Vietnam. Che is a symbol of hope and humanity. He was the enemy of warlords, but the friend of the people who were given a false notion of democracy- who were given the right to vote but didn't receive any healthcare or education. Che terrorised an oppressive regime. He never took up arms against the common people- he IS their leader.
(Any form of terrorism that harms a single innocent civilian must be condemned. The attack on WTC is deeply regrettable.)
Whenever you see justice denied, think of CHE. Be true to your ideals.
