Hey, do any of you know any cool discussion forums? Especially leftist forums, and Latin American ones. Thanks.

The Lyceum is closed now Nate. I tried to get on a little while ago but it's closed.
There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

Go to www.spark-online.com, an excellent Canadian site that explores "electronic consciousness". The discussion board there is very interesting, and lots of diverse topics are covered, but like most forums, you get your fair share of armchair intellectuals and dim-witted twats who think they know everything, but it's all good...
The prolonged barrage engulfed Zero-One in the glow of a thousand suns. But unlike their former masters with their delicate flesh, the machines had little to fear of the bombs' radiation and heat. Thus did Zero-One's troops advance outwards in every direction. And one after another, mankind surrendered its territories. So the leaders of men conceived of their most desperate strategy yet. A final solution: the destruction of the sky.

"this one is great"

Oh, puhleeez! Man, which alternate universe are you from?? Come on, are you in this community for any other reason than to promote your crap website??

Why don't you post an advert on fascist.com or something, maybe you'll get some much needed attention from your fellow zoo exhibits...

Yes, I got a problem with you, in case you have not noticed, and although it has dawned upon me that I am probably wasting my time, well, it's just feels good to slag off every one of your posts because your appear to have absolutely no point in being here other than to promote your crap website...better just stick to your day job, buddy...

No, really, do you actually think you can win anyone over? Do you think I will actually give a rat's arse about your patriotic ideals after I log off? You'd have better luck advertising on a porn site, you cheap little bastard.

Now, bugger off, no salesmen allowed inside!!
