Cuban Missile Crisis Speech!! Please help!!

I have a speech due on Friday which I haven't started yet!!
I've been so busy with my Society and Culture major works over the holidays I've completely forgotten that I have a Modern History speech due on the Friday of the first week of term - two days away!!

I am so totally aware that asking for your help in doing this is cheating but it's worth 15% of the course and I've genuinely been working on my Society and Culture major works and I haven't had time and I'll lose my rank in Modern History if I don't hand it in, and my ranking is the most important part of the HSC!!

1. Make a presentation to the class in answer to the question above.
2. Provide relevant A/V material, images, maps and/or class handouts (Summary) on your chosen topic.
3. Your speech should include a brief outline of the crisis. It's main focus should be an evaluation of the impact on the intensity and nature of the Cold War.
4. You need to know your topic well and not rely on reading from your prepared paper. Use palm cards.
5. All students must submit a text of their presentation at the beginning of class on the day of the task.
6. Include a bibliography for your research with the written text.

I will be so grateful if you help me!

Maybe you could just give me .. an outline of the impact of the Cuban Missile Crisis?
Or, some historians/quotes from historians?
Etc. etc.
Anything like that!!
Obviously I'll be doing my own research, I'm not asking anybody to write my speech for me or anything,
I just need some ideas, some pointers, etc. etc. etc!!
