Ok people this is simple. Vote yes or no on whether or not you wish to repeal the bans on the stalinists and MaxB. Please post here only once, simply post yes or no and why if you wish, but thats all.

When you don't agree with someone you don't silence them you prove why they're wrong. If the majority votes yes for the repeal then the administration should send notices via e-mail to the banned members. I want cassius clay, mazdak, boridcea88, thursday, theButhcher, and Max B to be allowed to post here again. I'm sorry if I forgot anyone else, so write the people I have forgotten.

If Malte truly believes in democracy he will act based on the results of this poll. If he decides to go against the mass than we will know he is a hypocrite. How can he use the very tactics he hates? If he has to confine them to a Stalinist forum than so be it, it's progress.

Now i know someone, probaly D-DAY will ask me "What next a nazi forum?". Well I don't like the idea but it is the right thing to do. Nazis make me sick and we should fight the war against them along with the war against stalinists.

MaxB is a capitalist and should be able to post on this forum, if he can refrain from the tactics that have a tendency to annoy. Lately, he has not been copy and pasting. He has made a real effort to come up with his own works. You should let him back on if he promises to continue with this trend.

Also you should fix the problem that CI is having with his home IP.

What is the matter? Can you only handle one capitalist at a time?

I also believe that the Socialism vs. Capitalism forum should be renamed to the Opposition forum. It would extend to Nazis and racists so we can show them their own idiot logic on our terms rather than theirs, where they ban you for being correct. But, they should have to follow the rules, obviously. Also, if the Stalinists grow to be too big of a nuisance, we can put them here as well.

This way we can put the three most idiotic groups in one forum and leave them to spat it out amongst each other without having to deal with them elsewhere.

Final thing, in my opinion, no one should be banned for doing anything that is not specifically written in the rules for the board and for this forum. People should not be banned because they annoy a mod, they should be banned because they've broken a written law for this forum.

If you take dyermakers advice to have an opposition forum, I would ask that you quarantine the Nazis and Stalinists in a seperate forum. Keep soc vs. cap as a forum the debates the merits and differences of socialism and capitalism. Not really. As I've said before, I'd rather live under a capitalist system than a Stalinist or Nazi one. I just don't think capitalists deserve their own forum. IMHO, bullshit is bullshit and therefore can only make more bullshit when you lump it all together.

I've seen plenty of evidence that Stalinism is not Marxist.

I don't think the link (a.k.a. the lack thereof) between Marxism and National Socialism is really debatable; Marx and Lenin were both Jews, and National Socialism was, in no small way, a reaction to Soviet Communism.

Good point, but I don't think that MaxB or CI fit the bill. I would disagree with your use of the ban in these situations, but Proud American was an excellent example of why the ban exists. Can you help me out getting the capitalists reinstated? That's all I really care about. Fuck the racists and outright supporters of mass murder. We should keep this forum cap vs. soc. Banning capitalists damages the credibilty of having such a forum. Would you not agree, El Che?

Capitalists are a different question. They don`t bother me as much as the extremists. I don`t forget that support for Capitalism is part of the dominante ideology of our societies that is induced unto you. To reject it requires reflection, most are unwilling or unable to make, and an acceptance of the consequences. A Socialist, a Communist, is a social deviant, a marginal.

Ignorance is a defense not all can claim. Those guilty of premeditated, conscient defense of imoral practices are in graver situation. Greed, cowardice, malice. Risking error we pass judgement on others.

Debate with Capitalists can sometimes be stimulating but is more often tiring, annoying. Overall I think it`s probably healthy. However if people want to ban them they won`t find opposition here.

How would you explain me? Obviously I am the reflective type. Since I can remember, I have been one that questions virtually everything. I support free market economies after intensive studies on economics, sociology, and politics. I guess that would qualify me as a supporter of capitalism in your eyes. Since neither of your assertions about capitalists remain true for me, perhaps there is something you could learn from me, just as I have learned from some of you. I for one am always listening for bits of truth that offer as a beacon in this world of distortions and lies. I am in search of that absolute truth I know to exist.
