    Wow.
Who said thaat the left supports the muslims?
It does not support any religious group.
It only supports those nations opressed by imperialism , some of them happen to be muslim.

    I dont support Islamic extremism.

I think that they have a right to defend their homeland's which are occupied and being exploited by foreign powers, but that doesnt mean that i agree with their terrorist tactics which most of the time kill their own innocent civilians.

Mind you the US seems to have no problem dropping bombs which indiscriminately kill so i guess the Muslim extremists are giving them a taste of their own medicine.

You also have to bear in mind that Islamic terrorism is a response to US imperialism in the muslim world.

It doesnt make it right but it goes a long way to explaining why these people use such methods as a form of resistance against the world's only superpower with the best military weapons and technology.

Natasha doesn't speak for the left. Most of us don't support any liberal democracies and most certainly not monarchies.

We don't support reactionary religious extremists who have no consideration for the liberties of innocent people.

On the other hand, I can absolutely understand why a person living in Iraq would join the Taliban to kill Americans invading their homeland.

What would you do if the Iraqi government came to 'liberate' you and drop bombs in your country, maim your children, taunt your citizens, and rape you sisters and mother?

    Idiot.

^^^ You really need to look deep into the TROTSKYITE background of your neo-conservatism.

"A centrist strategy is based on patience, and building a movement or party or party-movement through deploying various instruments, which I think should include: workplace organising, housing struggles [...] and social services [...] and a range of other activities such as sports and culture. These are recruitment and retention tools that allow for a platform for political education." (Tim Cornelis, left-communist)

Perhaps the answer lies in that there is no monolithic, let alone unified, "left".

    I'd rather annihilate you.

Also imperialist countries won't stop supporting dictatorial regimes that happen to rule over Muslim populations.

I'm not so sure. Wouldn't they join an Iraqi organisation rather than an Afghan one?
