What is a dangerous idea?
It depends on your motive. If the objective is to maintain a servile state through people’s complacency or ignorance, then you may fear ideas that provoke revolutionary thought or question the State’s authority or competence. Throughout history these are the ideas most commonly considered criminal and punished as sedition. When the churches used their creed to suppress ideas and exploit people, it was the opposition to the majority religion that were persecuted and destroyed. When a new world was found to be rich in resources and promised unlimited profits it was the ‘savages’ who rightfully owned the land and held a different world view than western Europeans that were considered dangerous and were eventually eradicated. Today, there are rumors that men have found new forms of generating power at cheaper costs. Some of these men are also rumored to have been eliminated by the oil barons or who ever might loose from their discoveries. It seems that for generations it has been dangerous to oppose the majority, question the state, or threaten powerful men’s profits with competitive ideas.
The most dangerous ideas, in truth, are those that promote injustice and extinguish the lives of others. The
brand of thinking that allows other men to reap the rewards of other men’s labor through unfair taxation. Ideas that threaten to eradicate freedom from the planet, and allow for a mechanism of a totalitarian government with the power to eliminate those opposed to there scheme. Men that hate themselves and everyone’s existence seem to be the most dangerous and have caused the most destruction in the world, but they would have never been possible without men who refused to think and allowed others to do there thinking for them. By far the most dangerous idea is the non-idea. People who do not think present the gravest danger for humanity, for they appear to represent a large body, easily manipulated by the self-hating murderers.

good job, SN. You are a fucking GENIUS.
Direct action is key- don't just sit at your computer and rant at leftists you disagree with slightly- get out there and DO IT. Organize. Change your life, and change the lives of those around you. The reason the waterheads are still in power is because we aren't being loud enough.
"self-hating men" -- a curious concept.
How would one know such an odd individual?
Are there "self-hating women", too?
Wouldn't someone who "hated" themselves simply commit suicide?
It must be "genius", SN, because I sure don't know what you're getting at.

If you are not sure about what I am refering to when I say self-hating individuals, see my post about suicide. I explain this phenomenon in detail. Yes, self hatred can lead to suicide, but not always. Here is a prime example. Recently, documents have surfaced that suggest J. Edgar Hoover had African heritage. He worked to destroy everything that would point to this conclusion. He was very critical of black leaders and could have done more to ensure their safety during the civil rights movement. Had he not been so ashamed of his background, many deaths might have been avoided. I think many of histories megalomaniacs also share this characteristic. This kind of consumption of the self can only lead to devastation, whether it is suicide, or mass murder.
If J. Edgar Hoover had a black ancestor and found out about it (in the 1920s or 30s), it would not take "self-hatred" to explain his desire to destroy the evidence...simple careerism would do nicely. A person with black ancestry would not have been permitted to rise to prominence in government in that era...any more than they would have been permitted to play major league baseball.
As for his attitude towards black civil rights leaders in the 1960s, my understanding of his views suggest the obvious: he considered racial equality to be a communist plot to bring down America. He was entirely sincere in that belief and "self-hatred" had nothing to do with it.
Try again, SN.

Take out the part about the taxation and other men reaping the rewards of another man's hard work and you are pretty much on point here.
Dangerous ideas have always exisisted as you stated above. You also say that men who are ignorant are easily manipulated. I too agree. I think we need to realize the importance of education in our society. Jose Marti said "To be free is to be learned." In our current educational system you find inequity after inequity. These inequities lead to masses of people being ignorant. Thus, the only solution is reforming education so that all are treated equal, so that higher education is available to all that seek it (i.e. FREE OF CHARGE). Our literacy rate needs increasing through equal education.
We need to free ourselves from corporate control of media where the only incentive is maximizing profits. This corporate control leads directly to people being either not informed or misinformed or having their consent manufactured (see Noam Chomsky). The corporate tells us what clothes to wear, what food to eat, and what to believe.
A totalitarian government is evil. It is un-democratic and does not allow for evolution of thought. For example, Marx was a brilliant man but his ideas need to be evolved into today's society. His ideas of alienation and exploitation are essentially relevant yet his class ideas are not directly applicable. That is the problem with a communist totalitarian government. Besides, I generally don't trust an elite group (face it, they become an elite group even if they were proletariat before).
It is not only the self-hating men who ruin the world--it is the generally hateful and GREEDY men who ruin the world. George Bush is planning on killing a whole lot of men, women, and children in a greedy and hateful excursion into the Middle East (and probably Asia as well).
It is dangerous to question the state. Why do you not question George Bush and his cronies? Remember it is your pal Arie Fliesher (sorry it may be mispelled) who said we need to "watch what we say."
We are all in pursuit of truth and justice for all. The totalitarian communists are just as wrong as the libertarian capitalists. I advocate democratic socialism. Here the needs of ALL are met regardless of who they may be or be born to. Is that not justice in its very essence?
