I'm sure the hearts of all well-minded socialists sank when we heard the sad, albeit expected news that the Federal Appeals Court had upheld the ludicrous charges against the Miami 5.

Here's a quick date for your diaries:

Saturday 26 July - Free the Cuban Five demonstration!
12.30 – 2pm
Duke of Wellington statue, junction of Princess Street/North Bridge.

2.30 -3pm
Rally outside United States Consulate, Regent Terrace.

Called by Rock around the Blockade groups in Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh as part of the international mobilisation to free the Cuban Five.
