Hey, I'm in class so i only have a few seconds to answer this.

Violence should only be acceptable (in a form of a violent revolution) if democracy has been disregarded by the original party in power. (for example, if one of an opposed party was voted in using the democratic system and the other part declared absolute power therefore disregarding democracy)

And for your third question: This is basically a question of who is the lesser of two evils, and i can't really say. They were both equally bad, but obvioulsy the larger death tolls lies with Stalin. So, i am urged to say Stalin, but i wont because Hitler was just as bad in his methods.

1: Under which circumstances do you believe violence to be an acceptable vehicle of political/social change?

In response to violence. In response to oppression of the will of the masses. In response to the real threat of violence, in order to prevent further massacre (Hiroshima eg)

2: Do you feel that 'the end justifies the means'? Explain why/why not.

In the context of politics and world affairs, yes. What matters is results, not process. In life in general this is my philosophy but I find that americans in particular like process.

3: Hitler or Stalin- who was worse? Why?

Equally bad. Even if they had never caused massive deaths, their political points of view were equally bad for humanity.

4: Is truth subjective or objective? Why?

There are subjective conditions and objective conditions. Under subjective conditions, the truth is subjective. (Jennifer Lopez is very beautiful. I hold this to be truthful) Under objective conditions, the truth is objective. (Today is Thursday).
