Linkola's primitivist views are despicable. But even more troubling are his Fascist sympathies. He once said in a radio interview that racism is natural to humans and defended Nazi Germany.

Linkola is from an upper class family and totally out of touch with the working class. Linkola actually brags about how his uncle had a fishing trips with Heinrich Himmler.

A good article exposing him (in Finnish):

Finnish Marxist authors have exposed his crap already in the seventies, actually. One good article in one of my mothers old newspapers put it well: 'The so called Poetry-Finland Linkola longs back to, never existed outside the porch of his family mansion'.

Thanks for posting this Unicorn, I knew that Linkola was an ecofascist before, but I actually had not heard about his open admiration for the Nazis before. According to the article he has claimed that Germany had been the cradle of world culture, science, philosophy and ideology until the 'unfortunate end of WWII'.

And by 'unfortunate' he means that the Nazis lost.. Yeah, it's truly a shame that we can't ban eco-fascists on the spot on this forum, as they represent just a different shade of the same misanthropy as the Nazis.
