Peace and Justice in Colombia
For more than four decades, Colombians have suffered torture, displacement, disappearance and general misery in the hands of the military and the paramilitary politics.
More than 200 social and mass organizations have called for a world-wide campaign for peace and justice in Colombia. On 6th March victims and supporters will participate in International Action in a passionate plea for peace, a political solution to the forty year long, social and armed conflict and for the humanitarian exchange of prisoners of war.

In the last decade:
· More than 4,000,000 peoples have been displaced
· More than 35,000 people have disappeared
· More than 10,000 bodies have been found in 3,000 common graves
· More than 2,570 union leaders (inc. 900 indigenous people) have been murdered
· The paramilitary assassinates on average 800 people per year

Since 2002, under President Uribe's administration a policy of "Democratic security" has resulted in more than 1,900 activists extra-judicially executed and 7,500 more arbitrarily detained, and 500,000 hectares of land has been stolen by the paramilitary.
No more paramilitary politics!

In our law that is §129 Support of terrorist organisations. as which the FARC is considered at least in the EU.
Please dont tell people to do things that get them in jail on this forum
Nice to see this protest is pretty international though, in many german cities we had protests yesterday too.
