Default Anger at embarrassing photo of MP

Anger at minister's photo with Colombian army unit linked to trade unionist killings:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008...ia.humanrights
Colin Burgon, Labour MP for Elmet, said yesterday he was "shocked and saddened to see these pictures. I have visited this area and spoken to ordinary people in the area and they view the military there as an oppressive force."
Tony Woodley, joint general secretary of the union Unite, called for an end to British support for the Colombian regime: "Colombia is the world's leader slaughterhouse for trade unionists and it defies belief that the British ministers should be cuddling up - literally, judging by the photographs - with the perpetrators."
    Thoughts?

I thought that i would have a nice bad story about the pro-US Colombian regime to counter the anti-FARC protests shit that all the Conservatives are currently lapping up.

My immediate thought is that double standards are ripe within the bourgeoisie. Despite the name of this thread, I'm sure the scum are not embarrassed at all. Hopefully the US-backed regime's own corruption will turn the tide against the petty liberal anti-FARC sentiment that has recently bloomed.

Both Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama have voiced their "opposition" to Colombia's repressive state along with other Bourgeois Senators. And due to this killing spree of trade unionists and government dissidents that have been murdered is the reason that Barack Obama refuses to have a free-trade agreement with Colombia (as if it was positive to begin with!). Although I see it as the notification of world protests demanding that this murderous State be recognized by grass-roots organizations and movements.
