The Internationale in more than 30 languages is part of the "Soviet anthem museum". A great place to get MP3s of different versions of the Internationale (I posted a link almost at the bottom of this post).

Yet... recently the webmaster has put two right-wing/neofascist versions. One is in Swedish, so I cannot understand a words of what they're hurling. Another is in German. It is hard for me to understand a word of what he's singing, but at one moment I could hear something like: "Die Zwartche, Rode, Braune und Gelbe" ... "Deutschland als ein Sozialstation(?)"... "Babylon ist überall" (forgive me my spelling) referring to "the blacks (anarchists?), reds (commies), browns (blacks?) and yellow (Asians?)" ..."Germany as a social station(?)" (I think it means Germany is used as a common place for immigrants to arrive) ..."Babylon is everywhere".
I'm quite sure that anyone referring to Babylon is using it in a negative way (at least that is what I'm used to).

If you go to the site you'll see the webmasters knows of its contents (or at least knows it from others he says).

Swedish version (MP3) and German version (MP3)

You can find the website and all other MP3s here: The Internationale 30+ languages.

If someone understands German or Swedish I would like to hear if it's true about these versions.

I would like to hear your opinions on this.
“Where the worker is regulated bureaucratically from childhood onwards, where he believes in authority, in those set over him, the main thing is to teach him to walk by himself.” - Marx

"It is illogical and incorrect to reduce everything to the economic [socialist] revolution, for the question is: how to eliminate [political] oppression? It cannot be eliminated without an economic revolution... But to limit ourselves to this is to lapse into absurd and wretched ... Economism." - Lenin

"[During a revolution, bourgeois democratic] demands [of the working class] ... push so hard on the outer limits of capital's rule that they appear likewise as forms of transition to a proletarian dictatorship." - Luxemburg

“Well, then go forward, Tower of Bebel! [August] Bebel is one of the most brilliant representatives of scientific international socialism. His writings, speeches and works make up a great tower, a strong arsenal, from which the working class should take their weapons. We cannot recommend it enough… And if the [International] deserves to be named Tower of Bebel... well, then we are lucky to have such a Tower of Bebel with us.” - Vooruit

Well, the internationale was actually an old Prussian Nationalist song, invented by troops in the Rhineland and parts of France. We just changed the words.

The fact that they have made a parody is ironic, it's already a parody!
"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"

You say Degeyter took it from the Prussians? Where did you get that information?

    The Internationale is good...

    however...

nothing (in my opinion) can get the same effect to lift spirits, as 'the Red Flag', completely disregarding its social democratic beginings, totally disregarding its 'Oh Christmas Tree' tune,

for a song for the working class (of which i proudly belong) The Red Flag has the feel of a song that is simple and to easily sung en masse which i think is more apparent here than in The Internationale,

does nobody agree on this one? is The Internationale our 'official anthem' here and nobdy told me?

The people's flag is deepest red,
It shrouded oft our martyr'd dead
And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Their hearts' blood dyed its ev'ry fold.

    chorus
Then raise the scarlet standard high,
Within its shade we'll live and die,
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here.

Look round, the Frenchman loves its blaze,
The sturdy German chants its praise,
In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung,
    Chicago swells the surging throng.

It waved above our infant might
    When all ahead seemed dark as night;
It witnessed many a deed and vow,
We must not change its colour now.

    It well recalls the triumphs past;
It gives the hope of peace at last:
The banner bright, the symbol plain,
Of human right and human gain.

It suits today the meek and base,
Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place,
To cringe before the rich man's frown
And haul the sacred emblem down.

With heads uncovered swear we all
To bear it onward till we fall.
Come dungeon dark or gallows grim,
This song shall be our parting hymn.

If someone understands German or Swedish I would like to hear if it's true about these versions.
You’re right, the German version is about immigration. Here are the lyrics:

    Strömt herbei Ihr Völkerscharen,
    immer rein ins deutsche Land,
    und knechtet dann die Deutschen
und stellt sie an die Wand.

    Strömt herbei ihr fremden Scharen,
    immer rein in unser Land.
    Ob Türken, ob Tartaren,
    hier wird jeder anerkannt.

    Einst mit den Besatzungstruppen,
    da begann der Völkerbrei.
Längst sah man ihn sich entpuppen
    als ein Leipziger Allerlei.

    Schwarze, Rote, Braune, Gelbe,
    Vater, Mutter, Tochter und Sohn.
Und von Rhein bis Spree und Elbe
    Deutschland als Sozialstation.

    Wenn nicht alle Zeichen trügen
    kommt demnächst ein neuer Schwall.
Sei's in Flügen, sei's in Zügen:
    Babylon ist überall.

    Strömt herbei, ihr Völkerscharen,
keine Grenze hält euch stand -
und wir Deutschen sind in Jahren
nur noch Gast in unserm Land. Bestimmt!

Well, that's sick. Too bad this site tolerates such bullcrap. That's far from an Internationale.
