It was a book that was supposed to highlight and create change around the hazardous workplace conditions but ended up doing not much more than making sure all foods processed through plants were edible and healthy.
It's worth the read, though.

All right. My progressive leftist (known supporter of Mao, always mentions increasing inequality and classism) US History instructor has offered extra credit for proof of reading The Jungle. Anyone read it? Anything I should look out for in particular? Can anyone give a decent synopsis?
