This fall the Danish government holds the presidency of the European Union. From Friday the 13th of December to Sunday the 15th, the final summit of the presidency will be held in Copenhagen. From Thursday the12th to Sunday the 15th there will be protests and actions against the European Union all over Copenhagen. We invite you to come and join us in this resistance against the EU: an undemocratic, capitalist project made solely to improve conditions for large cooperations, at the cost of people, democracy and the environment.

"The proletariat, when it seizes power [...] should and must at once undertake socialist measures in the most energetic, unyielding and unhesitant fashion, in other words, exercise a dictatorship, but a dictatorship of the CLASS, not of a party or of a clique -- dictatorship of the class, that means in the broadest possible form on the basis of the most active, unlimited participation of the mass of the people, of unlimited democracy." - Rosa Luxemburg

"An Rhein und Ruhr marschieren wir. / Für unsere Freiheit kämpfen wir! / Den Streifendienst, schlagt ihn entzwei! / Edelweiß marschiert – Achtung – die Straße frei!"

If only I was older and had money, I'd be over there. I'm waiting til 2004 when Ireland holds the presidency.
There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

Does anyone know a cheap way to go to Copenhagen? With the Deutsche Bahn ( German Railway Co. ) it costs 53.- Euro for a ONEWAY ticket to the german/danish border ( not even to Copenhagen, but to Puttgarden ) from my hometown!!!

Is anyone going there by car who will be driving through north Germany by any chance?

Your country is at least IN the EU. Crazed rigth-wingers that hold great power in my country are blocking any way of my country to get near Europe, altough it's in the fucken midle of it.
