I have recently joined a socialist organisation that is active in organizing demonstration for example against the war on Iraq. So what have you done for socialism?

Protested against : cuts to socialised health care, privatisation of survices, cuts to public education/increased funding to private schools. I signed an anti-US proganda/WAR petition, organisated a major rally, emailed NS-Cuba trading CO...and told them how much a wonderful job that they have been doing.
I have joined a socialist movement in my province too. It is offically recognised by the Govn't of Canada.
    I'm helping anyway I can.

Since there are few socialists in my right wing christian community I can do little. I place left wing quotes on my books and folders...etc. I have begun to write anti capitalistic messages on money. I debate politics with whom ever I can to let people know of the socialist opinions. very small things that can create a small ripple in my area. If anyone knows of any organized socialist group in the appleton, Wisconsin area please do tell

Aside from political debates with friends and for academic purpouses, nothing at all.

Any significant movement toward socialism by individuals or small collectives is no movement at all it isn't helping.

I agree. Prostests are useful for unifying people who wish to be involved in the movement; however, it does not accomplish much along the lines of change.

I have started to discuss the nature of communism with people who only ever saw 'USSR', these people invariably see the light, many of my family follow loose socialist ideals .

to make my point to people where i live, i have hung the red flag (ie hammer and sickle) as the most recognisable symbol of communism ,outside my house.

I wear communist icons on my blazer at school, and when a teacher asked me to remove them i said (not being racist or anythin) would you ask a sikh to remove his turban ? and walked off.

I've converted 3 people who used to be pretty hardline capitalists into commies

I go to most demonstrations organised by socialist organisations and try to get as many people as possible too (friends, family etc.).I also read the socialist and communist news papers.
I also try to convert capitalists to socialisme,by debating, but that usually doesnt work, since most capitalists here are really ignorant and cant handle it when I say something bad about capitalisme.
At school I (try to) protest when the teachers tell lies about socialisme (and this is very often ).
