A friend told me that there is going to be a demo against the war on Iraq in the Netherlands, could anyone tell me when and where this is going to happen?

(He was going to tell me and i'm impatient, so if i know before anyone posts i'll put it in this thread)

Oh well, it may be a bit late but I finally know.

It is going to happen on the 26th of October. In front of the City Hall of Rotterdam, for those who wish to know how to get there here is a short description for those using public transportation:

Take the train or bus to the train station "Centraal Station Rotterdam" from there take either the subway or the tram, you can also walk but then you have to follow the trams tracks. Take the Tram 20 or 23 to the station "Stadhuis", same goes for taking the metro.

I hope to see you people there.

Yes, there is going to be one in amsterdam, but i'm not going there, because from what i've heard its going to be on the 26th too and why should I go to amsterdam if I live in Rotterdam.

Neither do I know who organised it but a friend of mine got it in his mail so I guess he should know. I'll ask him.

I live closer to Rotterdam but I don't know if a lot people go there, I think there will be a lot more people in Amsterdam because that demo is supported by SP, GroenLinks and Internationale Socialisten

Zijn er nog nieuwe demonstraties tegen de oorlog tegen Irak. laat het me weten [email protected]
Let no one charge that socialists have arrayed class against class in this struggle. That has been done long since in the evolution of capitalist society. One class is small and rich and the other large and poor....One consists of capitalists and the other of workers. These two classes are at war. Every day of peace is at the expense of labor. There can be no peace and good will between these two essentially antagonistic economic classes. - Debs
