i have been working in my cities public library since october of last year, and there is this little stand where small newsletters go out for free right when you walk into the library. my last day for work before i move to my college dorm is next week on saturday (14th), and as a little good bye thing, i want to print a little pamphlet, and set many copies of it next to the other city ones there. my problem is i dont know what i should put on it, and how does copywrite issues come into play since i am not selling it. if you have some ideas as to what i should put on it, have exact articles or essays i should put on it, or know some more about the copywrite in this case, add to the thread. i will be gone until late monday for an engineering thing at UCD, so i will not respond till then. thanx.

“There are no boundaries in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens anywhere in the world, for a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory; just as any country's defeat is a defeat for all of us.” – Che Guevara
“We still believe that the struggle of Ireland for freedom is a part of the world-wide upward movement of the toilers of the earth, and we still believe that the emancipation of the working class carries within it the end of all tyranny – national, political and social.” – James Connolly
There are plenty of pamphlets and such on the websites of various social causes. Pick a topic and find one. You could do it on the social injustices of sweatshop labour, or the middle-east, or local/national governmental corruption, or anything really. What do you feel strongly about? What do you believe in?

Pinko: any of the three things you mentioned would be great. i am interested in all of them, and have information myself on them, but what about copywrite laws? is their a pamphlet or articles that i can use on these subjects that wont get me in trouble for copywrite on the net already?
CiranB: i dont think that one would be coming out that soon. i thought about that, but on such short notice (due to my part), i dont think that an edited, and finalized paper could be put together by saturday.

Is the UCD you attend University College Dublin, abstractmentality?
And on copyright problems, most leftist websites don't have all that copyright bollecks. If you see a good pamphlet on a site, you could always email the administrator and ask for permission to distribute it.
