Communist Gangs - What do you think of them?

Think we should start em up again? I'm not talking about traditional gangs. Read the book "Reds and Blackshirts". Anyone remember the days when fascists and communists with opposeing views in europe would engage in street brawls! That sorta thing. It's not loke 'modern' gangs. It would be a group of people, who batte fascists. They wouldn't be vandalyzing or anything like that. So do you think they were a good idea, or a bad idea at that time? If you think they were a good idea, do you think they should be brought back?

For those who live near eachother (talking about this board) it could be an ok idea, but if you live in.. let's say in canada, what can I do from finland?

And I think we are all sorta fighting nazis in our own ways. What's up with starting a gang? (I haven't read the book you mentioned and I bet I won't find it in finnish anywhere, so sorry if there was a big point in it and I missed it.

)

But as for that non-vandalyzing, I totally aggree. Vandalyzing is stupid and doesn't really lead to anything.

Gangs organized for petty destruction and vandalism are pointless, and do more to harm the cause than help it.

Although I haven't read the book either, it does sound very interesting. I'll look for it.

But I can assure you that there are already plenty of groups with various goals strategically attacking the means, methods, and resources of imperialism. Their names are different, but their goal is the same: to interrupt and dismantle the machine fueled by the blood and tears of humanity. This machine is a toy for the rich, a horror for the poor; and may those at the controls one day find themselves ground in its gears in a smoking collapse.

Ya. Ava, I wasn't talking about starting one. Heh. I was just asking for peoples opinions and what they thought of those type of gangs that existed. (Generally before WWII)

Im not in favour of gangs because whatever the intent originally they almost always digresse to a primeval state of barbarism and violence will always have innocent victims

LOL! No, they wouldn't have the workers skill to use them. WE wield red throwing stars as well. The Capitalists wield a flag, with a sorta pointy tip. They use them like spears.

Hate to point it out but spears vs hammers and sickles, you'd have to bet on the spears. THe poit is before you can bring hand implement and capitalist into contact you have to negotiate s big pointy stick being thrust enthusiastically at you.

hmm it sounds like a good idea actualy...there arent many groups out their that go into actual conflict with the fascists, and i think its time we start to do that, we cant let the fascist feel safe anywhere...i dunno im just ranting now, but ya good idea
