CUBA 2002

Public Meeting at 7.30 pm on Monday 10th June 2002
"The Briton's Protection", Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester
(Next to the Bridgewater Hall)
Nearest Railway Station: Deansgate or Oxford Road
Metrolink: GMEX or ST. Peter's Square

In a recent speech, United States Under-Secretary of State John
Bolton accused Cuba of being involved in developing biological
weapons and of sharing its expertise with states alleged by the
USA to sponsor terrorism.
The Washington hawks clearly wish tointensify the economic and
diplomatic offensive which they have waged against Cuba for the
last forty years. The so-called "War on Terror" could now be used
to give them an excuse for an unprovoked military action.

How can Cuba survive the challenges it now faces?
What should be the contribution of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign?

Speaker: Dr. Steve Wilkinson, Editor of "Cuba Si", quarterly
journal of CSC, and author of "David and Goliath, 100 years of
Cuban independence and 200 years of U.S. annexationism".

Organised by Manchester Cuba Solidarity.
