I don't think we will get to know the lecture hall until like--a day before. They always operate like this because they know people would try to organize against it. We are still however, going to organize before, and we are going to establish meeting points, strategies etc. When the plans kinda become established I'll pm you the details!

I'm sure that this support from the Republicans would clearly lead to these policies becoming less stigmatised in Britain as well.

Well, that seems to be the demand of the main 'anti-fascist' organisations these days - asking the authorities to restrict the free speech of the far-right. This is certainly the position of UAF in the UK.
The 'No Platform For Fascists' stance, as i understand it, appeals to the bourgeois state authorities and other bourgeois institutions (e.g. universities and colleges) to outlaw far-right groups. For example, this is one of the key demands of Unite Against Fascism - the main 'anti-fascist' organisation in Britain.
My point is that this is counter-productive.
This kind of reminds me of how people were refusing to let Ahmadinejad speak at Columbia U for reasons including his opposition to free speech. Go figure, right?

We don't still know where is the lecture but we will have a rally point in The Rock (If you ever come to MSU just ask where the hell is that) at 6 PM in October 26.

Are you serious? almost all real left groups use the slogan "no platform for fascists" it means that we do not allow them to spread their hate and try to recruit people.It has nothing to do with asking the bourgeois state to ban far-right groups.

Yeah we are. its coming pretty well actually. A lot of antiracists live around the area.
