We don't still know where is the lecture but we will have a rally point in The Rock (If you ever come to MSU just ask where the hell is that) at 6 PM in October 26.

This is not UofM, this is michigan statre university, and yes there is a sizeable radical population.

Exactly! The most powerful weapon we've got against these bastards is their own vile words, exposed for what they actually mean. Banning them just lets them chuck fuel on the fire for their "freedom of speech" platform, which actually generates a lot of sympathy for them.

Er, the "No platform for fascism" has its use, it is not just some romantic pandering against the evils of fascism.
The theory behind it is that fascist efforts to organize should be disrupted the shit out of them. This makes it impossible for them to have cohesive organization and therefore, as BCBM said, "makes the streets safer".
I don't think normal people, except hardcore liberals, give a shit if Nick Griffin is disrupted or not. Perhaps, because Nick Griffin isn't exactly trying to organize fascists here, the "no platform for fascism" doesn't applies to him. However, if anyone is willing to interrupt/shut down/disrupt the shit out of him I wouldn't care.
