Photos of a redwatch photographer from the No Borderds demo I was on.

"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"

"The sun shines. To hell with everything else!" - Stephen Fry

"As the world of the spectacle extends its reign it approaches the climax of its offensive, provoking new resistances everywhere. These resistances are very little known precisely because the reigning spectacle is designed to present an omnipresent hypnotic image of unanimous submission. But they do exist and are spreading.", The Bad Days Will End.

"(The) working class exists and struggles in all countries, and has the same enemies in all countries – the police, the army, the unions, nationalism, and the fake ‘socialism’ of the bourgeois left. It shows that the conditions for a worldwide revolution are ripening everywhere today. It shows that workers and revolutionaries are not passive spectators of inter-imperialist conflicts: they have a camp to choose, the camp of the proletarian struggle against all the factions of the bourgeoisie and all imperialisms." -ICC, Nation or Class?

Antifa did chant "We know where you live, We know where you live" at him. But he didn't seem to care. It may not be his appartment.

From what I understand that camera is worth like, 30k, so he must have rented it.

    or it's a cop?

There's a journo in our town who works together with the cops and has a camera like that, he's also a baldy.

Na the cops have things called FIT (Forward Intelligence Teams) who are civillian photographers, who get to wear police uniform for a day and photograph us. They make no secret of the fact that they're photographing us all the time. It's part of their intimidation tactics.

In Recent weeks demonstrators have begun combating this actually.

    Well true.

it's not uncommon. I have had an england flag out near the world cup. But I think that doubled up with the surveilance of a noborders demo...

It's a lot less common than in the US - at least where I live anyway which is overwhelmingly conservative...

Around world cup time, most people put out English flags and have little st. georges crosses attached to their cars - but these soon disappear after we get knocked out...

I've never been to a school, library etc where the union jack is flown and it's a vast minority of homes who fly the flag in their garden or hang them out of windows (when we're not in a sports tournament)...
