In my home town, Bergen, we've had weekly demos against the war since USA decided to bomb afghanistan. In the beginning lots of people showed up, and the press was there all the time. Eventually, less and less people show up, and we need some great ides to do more than stand in the street with banners and speakers. Does anyone have any hot tips on how to make the interest rise again?
Workers in the world unite!
I constant why of keeping the message spread is to use petitions and have a letter writing campaign. It also gets people involved that may not be keen about going on a protest. It is also harder for them to ignore, because politicians can write protests off as a mob. But letters are harder to be ignored but dont get much press attention.

Why not try socialising events, so people go there to talk as well as protest, get some hot tottie there, so lads will got there too, failing that, smash up mcdonalds

I hate McDonalds, I hate it when my friends go there for lunch, in the end I just sit outside getting cold and hungry waiting for them to finish. But it is a good feeling resisting eating that crap. I hate mcdonalds. They dont even sell food, damn slop the lot of it.

My friends eat at McDonalds like every other fucking day, and i reckon its well funny when they spend like £3 quid on sum shit which doesnt even fill their stomach,
hahahaha. Then i eat 2 donner kebabs coz im a fat fuck.

McDonalds and the rest of those hell holes / restaurants charge so much. My best mate got a burger and something else and it was nearly five pounds. He was still hungry so went somewhere else to get more food, he's not a bloater but Kamo is right, the food has less nutritional value then the packaging it comes in and it leaves you hungry.

We've had a mcds opening in our town and everyone talks about it and it's so annoying cos it's like "McDs is so brilliant", "Yeah so's living without a degenerative brain dissorder."
I go to "Kebab Ye" so if you're in Linslade remember go to the place next to the canal. They sell kebabs, hamburgers, hamburgers topped with donner meat. Much nicer than that McDs crap.

over here in Belgium we have a movement ALF (animal liberation front) who burn McDo's down every 3 months or so but you have to stay resenable by burning 100 McDo's down not even one animal will come back! I'm no vegitarian or veganist (have been vegetarian for 2yrs) but I never go to McDo's. thats my opinion...
