I didn't go, but I heard from friends that it went well, quite a few people listened to what they had to say, did it in the spirit of christmas, they we're dressed as elves and they handed out a lot of leaflets, a success really.
I'll tell everyone if there are going to be anymore actions but I don't know of any at the moment.

Make it large profile and be fully organised, keep ypur arguements rational and do not lose your temper. Remain calm and people will be more likely to listen to a reasoned statement, have leaflets so people can digest the information at their own leisure and have application forms to keep people that were interested in touch with your group and help it to expand.
Also make it fun for people to watch, like a street performance or fancy dress and then people will be interested and then it is up to you to maintain their concentration.
