My name is Pete, I am 13, I live in Florida and I need to talk to you for a minute.

I need you to send a STIR to President George W. Bush.
STIR stands for S.ave T.he I.chetucknee R.iver.
The only reason a Cement Plant is going to be built here is because of President George W. Bush, and only he can can Stop the Cement Plant now.
The MERCURY that will poison the Ichetucknee River in the very near future is something that affects all of us. The waters of the Ichetuckneee flow into the Gulf of Mexico, then into the Atlantic. President Bush can not poison a free-flowing water supply and ignore the impact on the world environment. It's wrong if it is done in the Ichetucknee, just like it's wrong if it's done in the river in your town.

I have a simple request -- you know those 2 liter plastic bottles that sodas come in? Use that bottle to help save the Ichetucknee River! It's an easy and cheap way to have your voice heard. At our website, http://www.stiramerica.com , my brother ( Sam is 14 and is the WebmaSTIR) and I have pictures and step by step instructions on how to send your STIR IN A BOTTLE to President Bush. There's even a flyer to print with the STIR message and the label to put on the outside of the bottle. In the US, the bottle can be mailed for only 57 cents. (We even went to the Post Office and tested it out.)

You can all take a bottle and send a STIR MESSAGE to STIR President Bush.

Have some fun with the idea, like add glitter to the inside of the bottle. Maybe you want to write "STIR" or "SAVE THE ICHETUCKNEE RIVER" on a one dollar bill and put that in the bottle. You can also write your own STIR message -- plese keep it non-threatening. No liquid, nothing dangerous, and nothing illegal in the bottle.

Imagine hundreds, and then thousands, of these bottles being delivered to the White House! We will make sure that some sympathetic media and Congressmen are aware of the STIR IN A BOTTLE campaign. And this is where the internet can really help us make a difference. Remember the young boy who asked people to send him business cards? This was years ago, and a news report recently said that the boy is still receiving tons of cards. Share this email with friends, classmates, teachers. coworkers, groups and clubs. (Be nice, no spamming please.) All of us, doing this one small thing, can have a HUGE impact.
