During an Antifa-festival in Bern with 1500 visitors and featuring bands such as Klasse Kriminale and Oi Polloi, a backpack containing explosives was found in a closed room in connection to the main hall. Just a few minuts after the bomb had been carried out, it exploded creating a five meter pillar of fire and a ball of fire with a nine meter in diameter.

This was the second fascist murder attempt in Switzerland in one week. Three days earlier an explosive detonated at a party, even there it was just luck that kept people from getting injured.
