    To all comrades:

There is a new documentary about Cuba coming out on the 29 June.

'With or Without Fidel' has interviews with Oswaldo Paya, Ricardo Alarcon, Mariella Castro and many other big names from Cuba. A lively debate about the future of Cuba will follow the screenings.

A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

How about for once dropping all the big pro and con names and actually sit down and listen to what ordinary, random Cubans have to say? That would be a far more interesting documentary.

this film does that, it tries to get a balance. they talk to some street vendors, doctors, peasants and quite a few ordinary people in there homes.
