On Friday Islamo-Fascist nutters (supporters of the late al-Muhajiroun) will be demonstrating opposite downingstreet against "Brittish Opression". Members of Stormfront have caught wind of this and will be holding a counter demo at the same time, same place.
I strongly propose a third, explicitly antifascist, counter demonstration to oppose both strands of anti-working class bigotry - Islamic Extreamism and Nazism. And have been in touch with local antifascists and class-concious organisations.
The demo is 2 till 5 opposite downing street. The original callout is here

Anyone up for it should get back to me. We can then Organise a meeting time and place with other antifascists. Bring flags and placards.
Heres a rough drafted callout
"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"-Jean-Paul Sartre

Personally i'd love to see those two groups fight to the death, maybe us lot could just turn up at the end when the others are all down and bloodied, could be easy pickings...

A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.
Alright we've sorted out a meeting place but it's secret as to avoid getting intercepted by the fash.
Txt me and I'll txt you the details.

Wait, a muslim group is protesting against oppression, police raids, terror laws, the invasion and occupation of iraq, against the british government, and you (and the nazis) want to use this as a chance to protest them (while the Nazis will be doing the same)???
This reminds me of the pro-Palestine march on saturday when the Zionists and the BNP counter-demonstrators ended up protesting together against the march.
You need to get your politics straight, what you're proposing will be understandably interpreted as racism!
☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
No we'll be protesting against the Nazis. And the Islamo-fascist ellemets within the muslim demonstration.
As I said to you before, the BNP and NF have had demonstrations for Evironmentalism, localised democracy and even for workplaces to be run by the workers" (look at the NFs aims and principals) the fact is these 'acceptable' policies are simply a front to suck in their(and our own) contemporary support base.
In the same way the Islamo-fash scum who organised the demo intend to hoodwink the muslim community.
We need to firstly show that it's not a white people vs muslim issue, it's a workers V the State issue. By protesting the British state in solidarity with the aims of the muslim demo and against the Fascist counter demo.
And that a class-unified approach must be considered more important than a "behead those that insult islam approach" and challenge the reactionary nature of the Britishopression movement.
Issues?
I take on board what you said about being misrepresented. But with an array of anti-fascist flags, anti-nazi chants and a big banner saying "BNP IS NO SOLUTION" I can't see that happening.
