    Just saw this on indymedia:
"This morning several banners were dropped in the Milwaukee area expressing solidarity with those protesting against the G8 meeting in Germany this week. The policies of the G8 have a global effect and resistance to the G8 and solidarity with its opponents should therefore also be undertaken globally. While these actions may have no direct impact on the meetings themselves, we hope they offer some comfort to those on the front lines or in jail cells by letting them know they are not alone.

    The banners read:
    "Can't stop kaos
    Fuck the G8"

    and

    "Solidarty[sic] with Anti-G8 Prisoners"

The first one speaks to the threat of uncontrollables to the established order, especially during their organized conferences. The threat of widespread disorder by those getting fucked by the system forces the state to be on the defensive and allows it's enemies numerous opportunities for resistance and revenge. By acting out militantly against the established order, they can seriously disrupt the function of these meetings, both in the media and in the closed-door sessions.

The second speaks for itself- we offer nothing but support for those arrested in the struggle against the G8 and hope they will soon be free once more. The state has made a significant effort to crush dissent surrounding this G8 meeting, but their efforts thus far have failed. The anger of the oppressed is stronger than their concrete walls.

We will continue to act in solidarity with those in Germany, and throughout the world, who fight with their all against this social order, as well as bring our own attacks to bear upon it. "

    and

    "Through the Hydra's Heart

The fate of some 6 billion individuals is currently being decided by eight people, the leaders of the eight most powerful industrialized nations on the planet. Fighting for a seat at the table with them are business interests, hoping to turn global policy in favor of their profit margins. A seemingly dystopian scenario, this is the reality of the G8 meeting, occurring right now. Those who will be most directly affected by the decisions made at this meeting- farmers, workers, the unemployed, students, the third world and all people who’s lives are dictated by the rules of capital- have no access to these meetings and no control over the decisions that come out of them. Indeed, the governments of every country that has hosted the G8 have made certain of that.

The coming of the G8 has become synonymous with the suppression of all political dissent. From the blood on the walls and in the streets of protestors in Genoa to the current destruction of youth spaces, arrest of organizers and disruption of anti-G8 groups in Germany, those who stand up against it are given the harshest treatment by the law. Beyond preliminary efforts to disrupt all opposition, the coming of the G8 also signals further militarization of the police force. With full armor, chemical weapons, armored vehicles, specialized military divisions, snipers and more, the police prepare for the G8 as though preparing for war. And as this state of war against the victims of capital becomes normalized, those victims should become equally prepared.

The frontlines of this war, the social war, stretch beyond the decisions being made thousands of miles away by these eight leaders and the attacks on resistance efforts and murder of dissenters. In today’s ever expanding global market, they stretch into our city and into our every day lives. The economic policies set at the G8 have had a negative effect on workers throughout the world, even right here in Milwaukee. The policies of the G8 translate in to the outsourcing of jobs, privatization of social services, weakening of safety, wage and environmental protections and the destruction of the social fabric of communities from the inner cities to rural farmlands. Which brings us to the ultimate point of resistance to the G8- the social order that the meeting and the eight heads of state represent.

The G8 is merely one head of a larger and more insidious beast- capitalism. The effects it has on our communities and daily lives favor those who serve to maximize profit for an increasingly small number of extremely wealthy corporations and individuals. Opposition to the G8 meetings and what goes on at them must therefore mean opposition to capitalism as a whole. If we want to protect our communities and exercise greater control over our every day existence and not be subject to the demands of the bosses, demands against our best interests, we must strike at the heart, at the social order itself, and work towards a world free from the control of state and capital. We must demand more than just an end to the G8; we must struggle for an end to all decisions about our lives made without our control; we must struggle for a world free from all bosses and politicians!

Too bad the G8 summit was prepared for the beginning of june. Many universities and high schools have exams that moment. I thought of going to the protests (It's not too far), but since I have to study...

The police has lured the protesters into a big fight, I know they always do. Solidarity with the protesters!

"It is illogical and incorrect to reduce everything to the economic [socialist] revolution, for the question is: how to eliminate [political] oppression? It cannot be eliminated without an economic revolution... But to limit ourselves to this is to lapse into absurd and wretched ... Economism." - Lenin

"[During a revolution, bourgeois democratic] demands [of the working class] ... push so hard on the outer limits of capital's rule that they appear likewise as forms of transition to a proletarian dictatorship." - Luxemburg

“Well, then go forward, Tower of Bebel! [August] Bebel is one of the most brilliant representatives of scientific international socialism. His writings, speeches and works make up a great tower, a strong arsenal, from which the working class should take their weapons. We cannot recommend it enough… And if the [International] deserves to be named Tower of Bebel... well, then we are lucky to have such a Tower of Bebel with us.” - Vooruit

They were placed on two busy streets, near intersections where people would also be stopped and have time to read them.

wait what??? really? RCP people went there? I'm suprised. I'm not sure which issue got sold to you, was it the one on immigrant rights? Maybe. The Issue that came out today has something on the G8 and the issue after the G8 will probably have a report on it.

No it was just a special on bob from April, just bob. 95% on bob and bob on the world, qoutes and books by bob and 5% Bill Martin. No articles what so ever.

I can understand you have leading figure, but the rest of the world are more interested in a revolutionary analysis on the G8 then in the qoutations of chairman bob at that time, which mainly point out the american domestic and global policy .

Tip for them next time, bring a broader edition.

P.S where was bob? he isnt exciled from germany is he :P?

    More banner drops:

"This morning 4 banners were dropped and hung around the Milwaukee area with messages reading:

    "NO G8"

    "END Capitalism END the G8"

"Against Capitalist war, Against Capitalist Peace"

"solidarity with anti-g8 prisoners" (was found and rehung further down the street from where it was torn town)

We are an ungovernable force when we employ tactics that in their decentralized and autonomous nature allow for easy replication and modification (against the formation of experts in struggle and for generalized revolt) for the mass of oppressed and exploited to act as they see fit in circumstances of the least risk for themselves and most damage to capital.

There are many cops, hit-men for the state, who professionalize the misery of others and there are those who have internalized the master's values as well as many varied means of surveillance to encourage the oppressed's heads to stay firmly nuzzled beneath the state's boot. They wouldn't be on every corner, with worried eyes fearing that even the most minute questioning and the smallest of actions taken without their knowledge and approval will lead to the destruction of it all.

Another cop exists within our heads, one which allows for revolt to exist merely in concept, in image, in representation, as lifestyle, as commodity, somewhere else (germany), but not here. Not where it matters most, in our own lives. Is it really a minority of armed thugs with threats of violence enforcing capitals rules that keeps this rotten world from falling apart or this submission to authority and distance between our desires and their fruition? The secret is to really begin. The time for waiting and empty words is over.

We long for burning cities to call our own!

With love and solidarity for those fighting the G8 here and in Germany
With rage and plans in store for the G8 and the social order"

that's really, really weird. That issue is really old, A) and B) The people who went should've brought our newer issues. We have 3 on police brutality on mayday, the war of terror, oppression of womyn, and a call for mayday action since that broadsheet came out. Also our newest issue has a call for G8 action from the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement.

Awesome pictures Duck. Are there any more, besides the ones on the COMAC site?

Henry, I was there as well, I think I brought a little smile on the faces of your comrades when I agreed with them, in my own words, what the problems with the CPUSA are. Anyway, at one point they asked us if we heard of Bob Avakian and we said "yes" and I guess they gave us that issue(one from early April, IIRC) which was basically a special about the man, because we showed interest in him. Looking back, we should probably have asked for more recent issues about other stuff. Anyway, I don't think there were any other US organizations there, so big respect for you guys.

I remember receiving a copy of Revolution newspaper.

I also remember asking myself why it dedicated itself so much to one man.
