Comradely greetings from Pravda. In this year, the 90th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution, we see the socialist movement across the entire world, from the jungles of the Philippines and Nepal, from the halls of Beijing, Pyongyang and Hanoi, to the streets of New Delhi, Cairo, Moscow and Caracas, on the march once again, after years of retreat and betrayal at the hands of traitors such as Yeltsin, Gorbachev and Kravchuk. With hope in our hearts and a mission no less than destroying the capitalist system, liberating ourselves and constructing Socialism the world over, we will suffer no more retreats and setbacks.
Since the moment the people first seized control for themselves in Petrograd back in 1917, establishing the world’s first Socialist republic, the Capitalists and feudalists of the world have ceaselessly strived to bury our efforts, consigning us to what they call the ‘dustbin of history’, directing an endless barrage of lies and ideological bullets against us. Pravda is an effort to expose these myths for the lies that they are and going further to reveal the crimes of Capitalism itself. We seek also to tear the masks off various organisations and people around the world who hide within our movement, sabotaging it from within. We stand in the defence of nations such as Vietnam, Cuba, the DPRK, the PRC and Laos, we stand in solidarity with countries such as Syria, Iran, Palestine, Iraq, Venezuela and Belarus, which are threatened or even under attack from imperialist aggression. We stand in the defence of the reputation of fallen socialist countries ruined by counter-revolution- including the USSR, GDR and Mongolia. But above all, we stand for the overthrow of Capitalism and all other forms of oppression right across the world, establishing a mighty federation of Socialist nations under the control of the ordinary people.
