The Swastika, or other varients, is merely a simple and aethsetically pleasing symbol which was used by many different cultures across the world. Indigenous people in the America's used it before White Colonization and Imperialism, so there is no way that was introduced by the Hindu's. It is a universal symbol, and it is extremly catchy to the eye. This is why the Nazi's chose to use such a symbol, because it sticks to your head and could be seen a thousand times. The connections with "Aryan culture" were bullshit from the begining, as this symbol has been used by practically every culture everywhere, including Hebrew cultures.

I refuse to call the Nazi symbol the Swastika, as it rapes the word (though the word has been raped by 50 years of connentations with the Nazi's). The Nazi's didnt call it the swastika, they called it the "hakenkreutz" or hooked cross, and I am far more willing to associate Christianity with Nazism than I am to associate Indian Culture (it wasnt necessarily religiously Hindu) with them.

This is a quilt made by Indigenous people in America (likely the Southwest) in 1925:

    Korean:

    An Iranian Necklace:

The Flag of the Indigenous Kuna People of Panama:

    Heres a Nepalese Communist banner:

And heres a bunch of different ones from different peoples:

Nice. Actually, I wouldn't mind at all if someone used the hooked cross - even in the nazi's design - or other nazi imagery in a way that diluted the nazi use of it, or makes their meaning more ambiguous.

Wouldn't it be pretty? Charities under an "iron cross" banner? Gay rights movement with rainbow swasticas? Anarchists with skull and bone flags? The reichseagle carrying an olive branch? The nazis are stealing bits of culture and heritage which belongs to the world in common. It seems fitting to do that right back at them.

Good thought, but I disagree. These symbols have been eternally tainted by millions of deaths, forever bathed in the blood of fruitless human labour.

In the west yes, but in Asian or Indigenous cultures, they do not have the same connentations at all. I think the Nepalese Communist Banner I provided is a clear example of that. One of my old Native Studies prof's also has a poster in his office with a swastika symbol on it, but it is in Anishinabek context, not nazi.

That's like that communists wouldn't be allowed using the hammer and sickle because of Stalin's crimes.
True organization, as the workers need it in the revolution, implies that everyone takes part in it, body and soul and brains; that everyone takes part in leadership as well as in action, and has to think out, to decide and to perform to the full of his capacities. Such an organization is a body of self-determining people. There is no place for professional leaders. Certainly there is obeying; everybody has to follow the decisions which he himself has taken part in making. But the full power always rests with the workers themselves.

personally i think thats a cool idea, like black people saying "Nigga", but it'll be along time before it works. the swastika is too damn shocking. i mean, there are still people who think all punks are nazis since sid vicious wore a swastika shirt. (during that era a lot of people used the swastika to simply mean rebellion"

Personally I'd rather not wear a swastika, even if it is to undermine the nazis use of it... it just has too many horrible crimes attached to it... Besides everybody would presume you were a Nazi, which in more leftist areas would result in a severe beating.

I'm not going to bother reading this entire thread:

I think the entire story behind the shirt was some guy in an office doing a Google search for "skull" and that picture popped up, so he put it on shirts without knowing what it was.

Keeping it going the American way, Walmart is going to be stubborn and refuse to take it down, because that would be admitting that they were wrong.
