Karl Marx school: Comac (in Dutch)

    Blijkbaar een vormingsweekend.
Karl Marx school is just a weekend during which you and many other people can take part in several discussions about several theme's (feminism, cuba, soviet union, etc...).
It's organised by the PVDA (partij van de arbeid), it's for students i guess (from 18 to ...) ( because it's oganised by the PVDA/PTB many of them will be members of Comac, the youth mouvement of PVDA/PTB)

I heard from it also form members of comac and I think it's only meand to be used for students (university, ...)
“Where the worker is regulated bureaucratically from childhood onwards, where he believes in authority, in those set over him, the main thing is to teach him to walk by himself.” - Marx

"It is illogical and incorrect to reduce everything to the economic [socialist] revolution, for the question is: how to eliminate [political] oppression? It cannot be eliminated without an economic revolution... But to limit ourselves to this is to lapse into absurd and wretched ... Economism." - Lenin

"[During a revolution, bourgeois democratic] demands [of the working class] ... push so hard on the outer limits of capital's rule that they appear likewise as forms of transition to a proletarian dictatorship." - Luxemburg

“Well, then go forward, Tower of Bebel! [August] Bebel is one of the most brilliant representatives of scientific international socialism. His writings, speeches and works make up a great tower, a strong arsenal, from which the working class should take their weapons. We cannot recommend it enough… And if the [International] deserves to be named Tower of Bebel... well, then we are lucky to have such a Tower of Bebel with us.” - Vooruit

You wanna watch out with anything political in Belgium though, you really risk being dragged along in sectarian political blabber (yes, even the anarchists suffer from that too )

To join, you can click "Inschrijven" at the bottom. Also, if this is anything like the Marxist University(www.marx.be, it's bi-annually) that I recently attended, it should be a great experience.

ik heb ooit de eer gehad daar les te mogen geven. het is echt de moeite waard maar toch vind ik de Marxistische Universiteit duidelijk beter (dat mag ook wel natuurlijk). zowiezo een aanrader!

    *Edit: Engels

I've had the honor of teaching on the Karl Marx School, but the Marxist University (wich is also organized by the PTB) is even better. Check out Marx.be

From what I remember from my time at COMAC, you don't have to be a college student or a COMAC member to attend it. If you want to be entirely sure, you should try and contact them (you can find contact links on the website).
Also, please try to keep conversations in Dutch in this part of the forum as much as possible, it's what it's here for

    Utopia lies at the horizon.
When I draw nearer by two steps, it retreats two steps.
If I proceed ten steps forward, it
    swiftly slips ten steps ahead.
No matter how far I go, I can never reach it.
What, then, is the purpose of utopia? It is to cause us to advance.
