Ok, so I think I've figured it out but I'm not sure, so help me out here if I am wrong.
Marx said that society has evolved (and is evolving) through the division of labour and the means of production. That capitalism is just part of this evolution and the last stage is communism?
Am I way off base here or what?

If I am correct...Marx said the last stage should be Socialism-Communism (remember that there is a period of "whithering away of the state"; the socialist period which, when the state whithers, would lead to communism) but that there is a possibility of a relapse into something called barbarism (maybe I'm wrong, a more knowledgeable Marxist should clarify this)

It is "Socialist Communism" (the first phase) followed by "Anarchist-Communism" (the second phase).
