Yevgenii Samoylovich was born in Hungarian in 1897 and died in Moscow in 1964. He was official of the short-lived Hungarian Communist government in 1919. According to the book "The Rise and Fall of American Communism" published by Horizon Press. Eugene Varga did not become a member of the communist party until 1920 in Moscow where he was active in "comintern" work. He eventually became chief of the Institute of World Economy and World Politics and the editor of the institutes journal "World Economy and World Politics.
