i have 2 questions about Cuba, if anyone can please answer.

1) I have read in a few places, Fidel Castro, refered to as "Dr. Castro", i know he's a lawyer, but i didn't know he had a Ph.d What did he get it in? Is it real or did he just get it without doing any work?

2) After the Cuban Revoluation, what happened to Batista? I know he ran like a ***** out of cuba, but where did he go? What ever happened to him?

thank you for your time.

I think Castro has a Ph.D in law.

Batista when to the Dominican Republic, which was controled by the right-wing dictator, Rafael Trujillo until 1961. I think Batista was assassinated.

True about Batista, at least that's what I heard too.

In Latin America, when you graduate as a lawyer, you are called a Dr. (in Aregntina the carrer lastas 6 years) in some other places it lasts 5 years. Lawyers, as well as physicians, are called doctors.

Thank you Larissa and Borincano for explaing why they call Mr.Castro a doctor.

Do you know anything else about his death? If he was murdered did any group calm responbility?

i researched a bit and only found that he did in 1973 in spain not really else.

The websites I read about Batista say he died in Guadalmina, Spain in 1973. None of them said how he died, I always heard he was assassinated, but maybe I'm mistaking him for exiled Somoza of Nicaragua.

I am happy he lived so long but i wish he was still alive today.

I read a bit of his alliences with mobsters, criminals, and curropt americian politians. He treated his own people very bad, just to boost the economy of his country.

People who consider money more value then human life, desreve to suffer. I am glad he livied and had to watch Cuba overcome all its problems. I am hoping he relized his life was a total failure and waste, and had to live everyday waking up to that fact.

For some reason, I thought he died in a plane crash in Spain. I have no idea why, I think I read it while I was researching Che.
Direct action is key- don't just sit at your computer and rant at leftists you disagree with slightly- get out there and DO IT. Organize. Change your life, and change the lives of those around you. The reason the waterheads are still in power is because we aren't being loud enough.
