From 1880 to 1915 1.5 million Armenian people were killed, by Turkish soldiers, their aim was to exterminate the Armenian race. The decision to carry out the genocide against the Armenian people was made by the political party in power in the Ottoman Empire. To this Day Turkey denies that this genocide ever took place. The Armenian genocide must be recognized, it is part of history and, therefore, cannot be rewritten. Below is a link to an on-line petition for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Just signed it. I think what it needs is some world famous director making a big Hollywood movie about it. That's the only way these ignorants out there will ever hear about it.
