oi...i need your guys help...im writting an essay to prove the the allies were fully aware of the nazis final solution while it was being executed...ad not that they had just found out about it when they invaded...im hoping for links and such and other recomendations where i can find some good info...i was gonna post this on the commie club but i cant seem to sign in..feel free to move this thread if its not in the right place...thanks for your help in advance...thnak you

Lots of Jews escaped to the allies with harrowing tales of people being gassed to death. Members of the SS who could not handle the whole thing sent the allies messages. There was this T.V program on made by the BBC . If you go to their home page www.bbc.co.uk and go to their education then history links then it will probebly have a lot of info.

"Conspiricy" being the TV program. A really brilliant film with Kenneth Branagh. I'm not sure about it's truthfullness, the characters were all real and there would have definetly been a secretive meeting of the SS with members of the Nazi party and the 4 year plan.

They did know about the Holocaust before the war ended because a member of President Roosevelt's administration, a Jew, was lobbying the President to bomb Aushwitz and other concentration camps. The Air Force and RAF were originally planning to bomb the concentration camps, but the higher up's decided against it; the leaders knew they were going to hold a war crimes tribunal against the Nazi's, and their main evidence of atrocities would be the concentration camps, so if they were to hold an honest trial, they needed their main evidence to be intact. Which meant no bombing or strafing attacks unfortunately.

hey..listen...thats some great juicy stuff do you have any proof of this or a website or book or something...with less anti-semitic trash thrown in...i mean theonly sites i find that talk bad about the allies in ww2 are stupid nazi sites themselves...i need something unbiased

The ordinary people didn't know about the holocaust (I have a diary which proves this) but British intelligence certainly did, they intercepted several messages about liquidation Jews with enigma but decided not to act because it might give away the fact that they've crack enigma.
