i've read and heard about what he has done and know he was sent back to chile from the uk a couple of years ago, but will he ever be put on trial for what he's done or does he have too many friends there and it will never happen. If he did everything he is accused of then something has to happen, justice has to be served. He was let free i know, but surely something has to be done to make him pay for his crimes.

The only way justice will be served is if a common person takes it upon themself to put a bullet in that bastard's head. The last time they attempted to try him for crimes against humanity, he faked a stroke and his doctor declared him unfit for trial. He left Britain collapsed in a wheelchair, but when he got back to Spain, he hopped out of his wheelchair and started to walk around laughing and smiling. In this case, it can only be the people who deliver final justice, no government or court will ever try him.

The CIA director at the time, Dick Helm, who was involved with the coup that installed Pinochet died last week. Try take some justice from that. At least a little bit.
There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

I agree. courts aren't going to serve any justice, you can count on it.

That traitor should be HUNG, nuff said. At least he serves as living proof that the U$ aren't "protectors of democracy" like they say they are.

Pinochet. I heard a bit about this bastard in my Modern Western Civ class in a short 'Americans lie' blurb from my teacher that said basically that Sept 11 2001 may have been selected cause of the irony involving the coup in Chilie of 9-11-73. It made me think, what is all this guy has done to be named the second worst dictator (after the guy in Indonesia right now) ever?

From what I know he deserves death.

Why can't someone put him for trial at the international court in The Hague, because I heard he is a beast he should be prosecuted or hanged!
