I've heard about this. I believe there was a TV special aired on FOX about 10 months ago about this. I never saw it, but i heard that the man who was arguing with NASA won the argument. One of his points was that the flag was blowing on the moon and there shouldn't be wind on the moon. I've heard that the Japenese are going into space and will try to find out if the americans were truly the first on the moon or if it was a fraud

Now that's very interesting.

I guess the USA will do anything in it's power to try to stop the Japanese from going into space. Such proof would be tragic to USA reputation. Even worse, the Japanese would be the first on the moon, lol.

Every arguement in that show (which was also on Channel 5 in the UK) is rebutted by this webpage.

The show wasn't really an "arguement" show it layed itself as one, but really it only gave coverage to the hoax believers viewpoint.

The flag waving thing is wrong because if a breeze was blowing a flag it would also be blowing the dust around, which it isn't.

Seems like a very silly conspiracy theory. Their big arguments are the length of shadows and stuff. How would they know what shadow lengths and lightings and such would be like if there was never a landing on the moon?

One thing you have to rember is that the photoes are out of this world so of course they may appear to be faked! (I belive that it happpened I am not supporting the hoaxs bull shit!)

They base a lot of their arguements on assuming that the moon is the same as the earth (It isn't, it's a vacuum.) Basically to sum up the whole conspiricy and it's rebuttels.

No Stars - Because there's no atmosphere, the light isn't diffused, this means that the light is brighter, when taking photos in bright conditions you need a fast shutter speed, Stars do not show up on fast shutter speeds because they are faint objects. I can demonstate this by posting a photo at mount Sinai I took at about 2 AM. It has someone (who is in the shot accidentally, I didn't know they were standing right in front of me.) And no stars in the background.

No blast Crater - The shuttle decellerated to reduce the impact on the ground. This reduced the force to 3,000 pounds (not 10,000 as is quoted) this force divided over a large area reduces the impact

"Waving" Flag - When the flag was place, it was being held up by a horizontal pole, this pole was slightly shorter than the flag, this gave the flag the effect of waving, as the astronauts wanted it.

Lunar Buggy shown at double speed - Also not how the dust cloud from the Lunar Buggy goes in a parabolic arc, if it was filmed in an atmosphere, the dust cloud would blow around the wheels.

Identical backgrounds - The 2 identical background which the program claimed that NASA said were a day apart, were in fact 4 minutes aparts, NASA in reality never made this claim.

Perfect pictures - Not every picture was perfect. When you go on holiday, do you expect every single picture to be perfect. When newspaper reporters go to football matches, they take many photos and the best ones go into the papers. The same thing happened with the moon landing.

Radiation - This is an exageration. The radiation belt would not kill anyone who goes into it. It would kill an exposed person who stayed inside it a couple of hours, But not instantly kill anyone who isn't covered in 4 feet of lead.

Non Parallel Shadows - Moon dust reflects light, this creates more than 1 light source, not the "only" light source.

No Flame - This is because the fuel used in the Lunar lander has a transparent product. However, because of shuttle launches, we expect to always see a big flame. Shuttles however use a solid fuel.

Capricorn 1 - This is because Capricorn 1 was made after the moon landing, when they knew what moonlandings looked like.

NASA "Murders" - This is just slander I can't be bothered to write any more about this.

Actualy there were stars, but only like 4 or 5! Why only some apear? the misterious shadows? the centers with more light than other? the misterious car marks, that can only be made with a mixture of a compound, and water, to make such defined lines!

Your explanation is a typical cappie explanation, you remind me of napoleon at animals farm, by the awy he coivered the truth there! your arguments mean hit to me! why shouild i trust arguments made years afrter the acusations were made? why should i trust nasa? idont trust myself and now i should trust them?

This is what happens if you take a photo in the dark. Notice how many stars there are.

Some stars are actually brighter than others you know therefore they appear brighter.

Mysterious shadows and lit centres are caused by more than 1 source of light, The moons surface is reflective.

I'd say that trying to figure out if the moon is a fake or not is nothing more than a waste of time and energy. So much more things, much more important to be doing than trying to foil this.

All the intricate ones are fakes. The others are caused by the earths magnetic field changing causing electric shocks to kill the crops in a circular pattern.

and atencion when you talk about Alliens, USA made the well known project in the 50's and in the 60's to check the Ufo´s, and you know how many Non-solved are in theyr files? 0ver 700! most of them were pranks, but remember you only need 1 real evidence to prove it!

ignoring some aspects like ghosts and the big foot are being ignorant, even the USA army studys ghosts, during the cold war the russians sayd thwey were training psiquics, so that they could spy the American facilitys, did you think USA laughed? No they did the same!
Denying the existing of the paranornmal is denying nature, life itself is paranormal! no one has explained how does life start! they say its froim the sea, but thats not enough!

There is always something unexplained in the world, and taht is the paranormal, of course there are some stuff taht we call natural, but for me even the paranormal is natural! this is a big world! and there are still lots of unsolved questions!

I am not sayng with this that we should be religious, nor i say we should blindly believe it, i say we should respect it, and study it, and we shall never ignore it!

About the camera thing, technology has moved on very quickly, sure NASA might have used the best equipment, but that was in the late 60s, times have moved on a bit. This heap of [comparative] junk that's infront of me now probably has more processing power than all the computers in the world 40 years ago.

On paranormal stuff. I actually believe in ghosts and I like to watch programs about UFOs and other paranormal stuff. On one of them I saw, they interviewed a guy who worked for the MOD looking the UFOs and the way the scrutinize the films is such that only a real UFO would go onto further investigation. It showed him taking 3 films and all of them failed, I can't remember the first one, the second one failed because it wasn't on a tripod and there was no reference point and the third one failed because he took copies of it but didn't take the original to the MOD, but they asked him to find the original so that they could look at it again to see if it was him sliding off the car or the UFO moving. But the picture he took was very clear.

No, I believe the moon was only landed on once. Then after apollo 13 they called the whole show off, I think.
