Certain things lenin would have disliked, although overall he would be pleased I agree. The war effort against germany and the building of a super power, spreading communism to eastern europe, etc lenin would have given stalin credit.

There are many pictures where Stalin and Lenin pose together as buddies and you can clearly see that Lenin was uncomfortable with that. Stalin just wanted the people to think him as Lenin's "buddy.
Well, actually he was Lenin' buddy. They were not enemies that is for sure.
