The next ICC public forum is being held on Saturday 16 September at 2. 30 pm, Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn, London WCI (nearest tube Holborn). The subject was originally going to be ‘What is communist society and how do we get there’, but because of the events in the Middle East we have decided to postpone that topic and focus on the significance of the recent war in the Lebanon:

We will be looking at the following questions:
    - Does this war mean a sharpening of inter-imperialist conflicts, not only in the Middle East, but world wide?
    - How does the outcome of the war affect the strategic plans of the various regional and global powers?
    - What are the prospects for the class struggle in the Middle East?
    - What attitude should revolutionaries have to the ‘national resistance’ organisations like Hamas and Hizbollah?
    - What is an internationalist position on this war and how do we get it across?

As usual, there will be a short presentation by the ICC but the emphasis is on discussion and all are welcome.

    Hello,

As the meeting is tomorrow I thought I would 'bounce' this thread.

If you want to find out more about the meeting I have posted the text, which will form the basis of the presentation in the 'politics' forum.

    For communism!
