the celts were first spoted by greeks in 750 b.c, the greeks made contact with comerciants from Hallstatt (austria) they were called by the greeks of Keltoi, trough theyr history they fought the greeks, the romans and themselfs, celtic tribes were in britain central europe and even Turky, well the celts believed that there was two worlds, this world (terran world) and the other qorld (terran world as well!) so when someone dies in this world they born in the other world then they die in the other world and come back to this world and so on, they believed that the other world was bether than this one, soo when there was a funeral they laughed and made partys since the death of this man represented the borning of the same man in the other world, and they cried when someone was born since that represented the death od someone in the "perfect world" some of todays rtadicions were devolved by the celts (many traditions related to christmas) the most famous celt in history is perhaps Arthur, well he was a celtinc warrior, that taked the trone of the legitim king by killing him and taking his sword (the sword was often a symbol of power so the king insteaad of having a ceptre or something had a sword) well many stories are inspired in Arthur but the truth is that he fought the saxons and he won all batles, then he died and the saxons conquered the celts, then came the anglo-saxons etc, so Arthur has litle to do with the today britain since he fought the race wich the britains are so proud of... the saxons!

YEs, and, the Scottish actually are Irish. A Celtic tribe(the Scotti) invaded Scotland and replaced the Picts in Scotland. I think it is obvious where Scotland got its name.

If I had my life to live over again I should form the habit of nightly composing myself to thoughts of death. I would practice, as it were, the remembrance of death. There is no other practice which so intensifies life. Death, when it approaches, ought not to take one by surprise. It should be part of the full expectancy of life. Without an ever-present sense of death life is insipid. You might as well live on the whites of eggs.
