A Nazi Victory In Wisconsin

For those in Wisconsin who have been following the events re: the NSM meeting and ralley August 25th and 26th, I have some bad news.

The NSM have scored a victory in Walworth County. The Hitler Shrine, which was closed to the public by a court agreement, is going to go public. They are getting proper zoning, the court case is being dismissed, and soon it will be open to the public.


Once the NSM ralleys are over, this Temple to Fascism will need to be addressed. Anyone in the region who is interested, drop me a line.

Something should definitely be done about creating an actual memorial. I'm not sure if anything could be done about him putting that crap in his own home but it should not be accepted on public grounds.

The NSM (National Socialist Movement) struck a deal with the Walworth county authorities. The original injunction was only based on an agreement due to zoning requirements.

For reason currently unknown to me (I had it on solid from a contact in the sheriff department that this thing was never going to be allowed to open), the city has agreed to proceed with rezoning. This is happened yesterday (hasn't hit the media yet).

It will take several weeks, but it's going to be done. Probably were threatened with legal action. I mean, fact is, the county did overstep their bounds and did try to use zoning to restrict the right to assembly. Not that I care about the rights of Nazis.


With a site like this opening up, and the NSMs headquarters being in Minneapolis, the nightmare scenario of them relocating their HQ to my backyard... gawd. One thing I learned is that Junker changed his will a few months ago so on his death the property passes not to his family but to "an organization". I have a bad feeling that organization is the NSM.

It was fully completed and set to open this spring, but the court blocked it. Now it's being unblocked.

Open to public does not change the fact it is private property. Anyone can ask you to leave their private property, and they can use force is you refuse. I'm not bothering getting shot for a sit-in. There are more effective options.

More or less. Now, rezoning will take weeks to months, but will easily be completed before the end of the year. Then we have winter, plus the fact that the members aren't going to be interested in returning to Wisconsin because they were just there. So I'd expect a re-visit next spring or summer.

The main cause for concern is the fact that this would make an ideal HQ. Centrally located in the US, near 3 major cities (Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago), set on farm land away from the city and law enforcement. A house up front, a meeting hall and shrine set half a mile from the road. Ample parking, camping space. German heritage area, and on of the most segregated cities (#1 in 2003) in the USA near (Milwaukee). If Junker dies, the NSM probably will get the property.
