I have just been informed of a documentary that is an absolute must see. The documentary is called "America : Freedom To Fascism". It is about the decline of civil liberties in America, and serves as a warning that failure to take action may result in America becoming a totalitarian state. The film is listed as "coming soon to select theaters". I don't know if it's out yet, but if it is, I urge EVERYONE to go see it. Hell, download it if you have to. Just watch it and spread the word...

It might be good, as long as they don't focus the entire thing on an income tax. The last thing America needs is people out demanding for an end to taxes on the wealthy's income.
I will download it when it becomes available.
It will probaly be some conspiracy theory video about how the communists are trying to take over the banks and forcing americans to pay the income tax.
It looks a lot like Alex Jones' videos.
I watched several trailer for it on the A:FTF website and the movie looks like boring repetition.

EDIT:What are you basing this on? I didnt see any reference to Communism other than some guy mention that "this is the same thing we were fighting against the Communists and the Nazis".

Yes, I wasn't worried about it focusing too much on the income tax from this trailer, but from others I had seen. Their official website is down at the moment, but I think it may have furthered that idea in my mind as well.
This seems a bit like some right-wing/anarcho-paranoid-conspiracy nut thing.
But I'll watch it.

Well the tax is the main touching point of this document film but its the other shit that surronds it that matters. ill give you that it might be boring but it makes you think and expand your knowledge of this curropt nation. a nation centered on being called the home of the free. hopefully this film wakes the world up and sees what some of us been seeing further helping the cause of true freedom.
No I agree, it could be useful for many people, but we just don't need people to run around demanding to get rid of the income tax in preference of a sales tax or something. That would be a disaster.
In the long 14-minute promo, they mention a lot of Executive Orders signed in the 1960s that were later revoked by other Executive Orders. Perhaps the new ones have the same affect (they are too long for me to actually go through and read) but the ones that they cite are no longer in operation from what I can tell.
so, aaron russo, the guy behind this flick, is a right wing libertarian (as opposed to libertarian communist or socialist), and even ran on the libertarian party ticket. tell me how much he talks about race, class and protest in this flick.
Looks like an interesting documentary, anyone know where to download it?
It only came out in theatres a few days ago, so it isn't out for download yet. Unless someone beats me to it, I'll make a post when it's available for torrent download.
