My comrades just passed this along to me. Stupid as fuck, and I'm in it, lol. They also keep showing Mao posters and skeletons from Cambodia. Makes no sense since no one in ARA is a primitivist though we are compared to Khmer-rouge because they had the black and red flag...Also, no one in ARA is a Maoist except for me; at least in Toronto. I doubt there is many Maoists in any of the chapters... Oh, BTW for some reason they chose "I am the Walrus" for the background music so you may want to turn off the volume.

Also, If he thinks the Khmer Rouge/Angka flag resembles the anarchist-communist one, then I could say that the crossed symbol in the flag is like the old Spanish Imperial Navy symbol they had on their sails of their old ships or the symbol of the fictional totalitarian nation of 'Libria' from the 2002 film, Equilibrium, for they had a combo of the Khmer Rouge/Angka flag and the nazi one.

yeah, and i had the same reaction to that bizarre attempt to crossreference the red/black flag (which isnt just @com, but syndicalist, sandinista, mpla, etc etc) with that khmer rouge flag- which happened to have a symbol in the middle that some fascists have used. and, frankly, the kr images were absurdly bizarre, as were even the mao ones.

but my main reason for responding was that i am quite happy that this thread has managed to show unity and solidarity. there is a depressing commonness of many anarchists and young antifas to, when faced with anticommunism by the ultra right, reject communism and their communist allies. totally fall into a sectarian trap by the enemy. this thread hasnt done that, so good for us.
