To me it's the channel with the most resources and experienced reporters but I think's It's getting more and more biased I don't know.

What is your general opinion on CNN?

Relativley fair, but still rightwing propaganda.
The political spectrum in the United States is so narrow and so far to the right that any "election" or "debate" is simply two aristocrats trying to please the sheep who follow them blindly wherever the leader tells them to go.

Depends where they get their information from. A lot is from Reuters, which is rather un-bias. But the rest, bias as hell. But no where near as bad as FOX.

CNN's always been biased. They were slightly left of center when Ted Turner owned the network, but now that AOL/Time-Warner owns them it's a whole different story. Preceding the war you might have noticed that the vast majority of the time that they debated the subject that they mostly only recruited former military men and ex-intelligencia for their talk shows. There was hardly any expression from the voice of the opposition, merely a debate on exactly how and when the war should be fought.

I do repent it from my very soul.

I think Sky news is the most neutral and fact based, unlike some others (fox!).

Of course not. Then it is bias towards Britain.

    Is CNN real news?

    Is any news real news?
You always have to take what you see, hear or read, with an open mind, and check into different sources before making your mind up. Never assume that what you read, whatever the source may be, is true.
We do live in an age where information is only a button away, but it doesn't mean you have to take it for granted.

On a side note, corporate media, such as CNN, have a tendancy to be more biased than others. Remember, they're not in it for the job, they're in it for the money.

The funny thing is that alot of Republicans criticize CNN of being biased. Some seem to think that they are to cozy with the middle east, you know, being the Crescent News Network and all. So fucking stupid.

I defintely would not trust CNN. Everytime I look at the chanell I assume it is lies until I have confirmed it with an other source. Then I can begin thinking about it with an open mind. Therefore i never watch CNN(live in EUROPE so..)

I totally agree with Zombie. There in for it because of the money and perhaps Bush is giving them the money!

I think any news should be considered as partially true when you first read it. I stopped watching the news ages ago because it bothered me that they were so biased. I believe that all news channels are biased, at least the one's the the american broadcasting stations, cnn, msnbc, abc, fox...whatever. The only "news" I ever watch would be the show with Jon Stewart. He's amusing. Aside of that, a lot of things get twisted and contorted to what they want us to know.

    CNN is regular ruling-class propaganda.

    FOX is ultra-nationalistic ruling-class propaganda.

Almost all American news sources are biased. Fox, CNN, NBC, etc. because they are all owned by super-rich executives who are profitting from Bush's tax's cuts and attempted elimination of the process of double taxation on stock dividends. I find that if you insist on watching cable, MSNBC is the most reliable (BBC is better if you have satellite/digital cable). Overall, the BBC and Reuters are probably the best source for news. The Leftist British paper "The Guardian" is also very good. In addition, you can sometimes find good stuff in "The Village Voice"

I've never really watched CNN. I'm sure they get the scores in sports right, I wouldn't really put much faith in them beyond that. They're just typical left wing liberal media outlets. Liberal bastards.

But I think it's good to watch these programmes sometimes. Fox News is good for a laugh, it's also nice if you want to shock yourself at how ridiculously biased it is. It's actually quite stunning that so many people watch it and consider it a valid source of unbiased information.

I recommend euronews.net for all your bourgeois news needs.
