I see my photo is finally up on Redwatch (although it is years old) -
[Removed by mod]
Redwatch is back? Welcome to last month!
Yea im up there somewhere to. Don't go saying where, or who, or link to the page, because the idiots rely on you giving stuff away about yourself, they can't even take their own photos anymore - don't do their work for them. It seems the sites requests have become increasingly desperate, just stealing photos of huge crowds of demonstrators, begging for any info one but a single sole... and throwing in the phrase wanker to make them feel better![]()
Redwatch, may have some new photos, but it's still as moribund as it ever was. Fuck all has happened to the people put on it, for a good few years now, and all that has really ever happened, are some inconvenient and abusive phonecalls. Which can quickly be turned back on the fash, if you just threaten them back, at their expense.
Any anti-anarchist/communist attacks were performed without the aid of redwatch, and thanks to our pressuring of the servers the boneheads are paying big bucks to keep this pointless tradition alive. I'd be quite annoyed if redwatch did get closed down, it's a brilliant waste of the fash's time and money.
We should be more worried about turning up in the daily mail.
"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"-Jean-Paul Sartre
Ahem
Quite a serious assault, as it happens. Attacked on his own doorstep in front of his fucking kids.
Not that redwatch are as much of a threat as they'd like to be, but it's dangerous to dismiss them completely.
"Class society has a tremendous resilience, a great capacity to cope with "subversion", to make icons of its iconoclasts, to draw sustenance from those who would throttle it. Revolutionaries must constantly be aware of this strength, otherwise they will fail to see what is happening around them." - Maurice Brinton
All the "Reds" look like such nice people. I like the T-Shirt saying "We are all terror suspects."

The walls pull back, they are transparent and they pull back... love can create this feeling, or art; it is rare to feel it in society, where one is almost always confronted with a kind of obligatory inertia, where the activity one pursues goes almost always hand in hand with the painful feeling of its limitations. But during the strike, we could touch it with our fingers, rub our hands across its back.
Yeah, it seems that all their sites are back online despite having been shut down.
There's phoots from demos I've been on, and comrades of mine, but ive not made the cut yet![]()
In what relations do the Communists stand to the proletarians as a whole? The Communists do not form a separate party opposed to other working class parties. They have no interests separate and apart from those of the proletariat as a whole. They do not set up any sectarian principles of their own, by which to shape and mould the proletarian movement.
-Karl Marx
It is only by strengthening ourselves ideologically, inculcating in ourselves the values and ideals of the struggle and building up the ranks of the revolutionary party that we will make it.

Once you have a scrap or two you realise you're not made of glass- being assaulted really ain't as bad as they make it out to be. And really, if that's the best they can do, sucker punch you as you leave your apartment, I really wouldn't be worried. Hurts for a mo', sure, but it only serves to piss you off a bit... and when people see you with a bruise or two and ask what happened, it only creates more anti-Nazi sentiment. See, that's the worst redwatch's can do. Being an anti-Nazi these days is highly respected, especially in Europe.
Nazi watches on the other hand are far more effective. We don't have to get our hands dirty giving the Nazis a taste of their own medicine- we can just post a pic and watch as they lose their political careers, jobs, friends et cetera et cetera. It's a laugh, and far more effective than just knocking someone down on the street.
I'm not saying panic is called for, just that this cavelier attitude to security is unwise, to say the least.

why is there no left alternative?
it wouldn't cost a great deal to set up something similar and we could soon collect photos of nazis to put up.
If the site is back up, we should try and take it down again. Every time they try putting it back up, we will attack it again. It may seem worthless attacking something that just regrows like a weed, but if we can keep it shut down for even a short time, that can only be a good thing.
Why would we want a nazi photo album? We know a lot of the nazis by name and addresses, we have various numbers, and a good idea of how and where they operate on a local basis. There is no need to centralise it and let them know what/who we know, is there?
We could, but what would the point be? The fact is, we don't want to attack individuals, that would be a waste of time, if someone wants to masturbate over pictures of hitler in their room, it's no trouble of mine. And we don't want to exaggerate the problem. The fascists are in no position to get power, the most they can do is disrupt and cripple our movement. They take root in working class areas, and can and do try to make it very difficult for us to organise. We need to stop them organising, and getting their message out in our working class communities. That's all.
Of course, attacking individuals can deter new members from joining, it's an intimidation tactic, we need to show that our working class communities don't want them organising here. The problem with making such operations central, and public, is that they are illegal, so having a centralised photo album, will only get us into shit.

Well the people that attacked him didn;t get their info from redwatch, they forwarded it to redwatch. So whether redwatch existed or not, they knew McFaddens details on a local basis anyway.
Redwatch is counter productive to the nazis, it forces them to put a lot effort into legal battles and financing. All the time and effort they are putting into this liability, is time and effort they are not putting into something more productive, so I Have no problem with this desperate attempt to put a couple of names to face out of crowds of thousands. Just listen to the desperation expressed by the people that run it;![]()

What a bunch of thugs, glad there's no Aussie redwatch that isn't a total mockery of everything they stand for.

Has anyone tried passing BNP or other scum onto these scum? It would be funny if some conservative got beaten up by a fascist.
Even better if a fascist beat up another.
Are you entirely sure of that?
His details have been up there for quite a long time, if the person who attacked him has had his details for all these years, why wait till now to have a go? It's also not the impression I've gotten from what McFadden has said.

Well, there are some pretty violent tensions between the radical C18, NF right and the more ellectoral reformist right like the BNP. Both accuse eachother of Jewish infiltraition and being funded by the jews ect...![]()
I think this manifests in beatings and attacks, someone from C18 did indeed quit and become an informer for Searchlight, due to fears for his own life, from threats within the extreme right.

So you never know, some boneheads might mistake him for a left winger.
Don't say stuff that's going to narrow down which photo contains you,

the operations may be illegal but a central database would not be - so long as it doesn't actively incite violence agaisnt people
it would make it more accesible to the public, so they know who to watch out for. Actually...that's dumb, I see your point - the public wouldn't access such a site and we'd only be giving away our hand to the fascists. ok, I see. thanks.
hilarious idea!
