The Nazi's Are Coming!
What: Build a coalition to respond to the National Socialist Movement
When: Tuesday, July 18 at 7pm
Where: UW Campus, see the Today in the Union board at the Memorial Union for the exact room (available online at http://www.union.wisc.edu/TITU/mutitu.htm ).
The National Socialist Movement (the American Nazi Party) has called for a national rally against the current immigration policy and open borders to be held on the steps of the State Capitol here in Madison on August 26 from 2-4pm. They are expecting 200-300 Nazis and supporters to be attending. According to their website, "our Nation is in the death grip of a foreign people (jews), their multicultural minions, and their illegal third world co-horts."
In response to the explosion of the immigrant rights movement in the past few months, a campaign of racist scapegoating of immigrants has been coming from the likes of politicians like Reps. James Sensenbrenner and Tom Tancredo. These actions have emboldened far Right groups such as the vigilante Minutemen and the American Nazi Party. As progressives and anti-racists we need to gather our forces and tell them that the far Right is NOT welcome in our town.
In order to effectively deal with this rally, we need to start mobilizing our allies that
oppose the brand of xenophobia and hate spread by this group. We need to reach out to our communities and spread the word. We propose that we hold an organizing meeting to discuss how best to bring about awareness in the local media and in the Midwest about the event in order to build a coalition that is prepared to outnumber and respond to the Nazis. We want Madison to be a safe place for all people, including immigrants.
Let's not let these racists get a foothold in our town!

The NSM is not backward when it comes to announcing where its rallies will be held. Bill White, at overthrow.com, brags about how civilized and peaceful the Nazis are, and how they are always victims of violent anti-racists and Commies. It would be a real shame if some of these brown-shirted fucks got the crap beaten out of them. Other fascist movements do not advertise their meeting places. But they usually go to places with lots of blacks or Jews, and espouse their bullshit there, just waiting for trouble, and then playing the victim when it comes to them. Remember when the American Nazi Party wanted to march through Skokie? If they want to be victims, let's give them what they want. Bill White claims he is so tough, let's see if he is telling the truth. Society must not tolerate the existence of disgusting fascists.

All Out to Confront Nazis and the Klan in Southeast Wisconsin
In recent months white supremacists have tried their hardest to gain a foothold in southeast Wisconsin. Congressman James Sensenbrenner spreads his xenophobic hate from a district just outside of Milwaukee. Recently a group started as White Revolution (now the Nationalist Coalition) has begun active recruiting; Neo-Nazi skinhead gangs have come out of hiding, and a memorial dedicated to Hitler has been built. Now, the National Socialist Movement (of Toledo riot fame) has decided that they will come and stir up even more tensions.
Wisconsin anti-racists will not allow them to achieve their goals and we call all anti-racists to come here and help us show this scum that they are not welcome anywhere.
On the evening of Friday, August 25th these Nazis and their allies will have a meeting at the heavily contested memorial to Adolf Hitler near Elkhorn WI. This hall was founded by a former Waffen SS member who claims that the Nazis never killed anyone person in the holocaust, that Germany did not start World War 2, and the Hitler was an amazing dancer.
At this meeting the NSM will discuss strategy, tactics and hate speech for the next day. This is the first meeting ever to be held at this cess-pool of ignorance, and if not effectively countered could start a trend of racist pilgrimages to the site.
On the next day, Saturday, August 26th,at 2pm the NSM will hold an anti-immigration rally on the steps of the state capital in Madison. Their rhetoric will embolden the racists that attend. Emboldened fascists are dangerous fascists and unless we confront them they will not stop at only words.
This threat to our communities cannot be ignored as some groups have proposed. We cannot sit idly by with our heads in the sand while the extreme right organizes. It is our duty as anti-racists to never allow Nazis to gain a foothold anywhere. We can fight them now, or we can lose to them later.

I did some recon tonight, and found that the address everyone is giving for the Hitler Memorial is WRONG.
I checked online, and found that most sites say it is at 6360 County Road J, East Troy, WI. But I checked the court records, and they say 6360 County Road A, Elkhorn, WI
Only one way to find out, I got on my motorcycle and rode out there.

You can't see much of the museum from the road, but from a roof on a neighbor's property (a feed mill), you can. Not much to say. There is no way a protest could get near the museum (legally), best you could manage would be the road. Both farm and museum are heated with above-ground propane tanks, and powered with above ground wiring. Farm has standard 4' fences, no barbed wire.
Two ralley points - 0.5 miles west is Millard Community Church (intersection of A and O [ironic that, AO]). 1.25 miles east is a small bar.
Nearest police station is 6 miles as the crow flies, sherrifs are 10 miles as the crow flies.
