Ok I understand that you need a permit in order to sell your product. and you also need some sort of certification from the health department that your food and establishment is meeting the local health codes and standards or what not. I understand this. BUT I dont give a fuck.
Tonight I was out in Hollywood with 3 girlfriends that are visiting me from out of town. we left a club on Hollywood Blvd. and walked down to get something to eat. I wanted to take a piss and i venture off to a side alley parallel to a parking lot where I saw a latino man with an outdoor grill selling those yummy hot dogs wrapped in bacon that i so much love. --- While he was serving up a tasty dog to a costumer the LAPD rolled up and shined their lights at towards his directions he quickly ran away and told the man not to worry about paying him for his hot dog. he ran fast pulling his grill. the cops got out their car and walked up to the spot he was at and shined their flash lights around the area and into the dark parking lot.
I had a clear view of all as I was taking a piss behind some trucks. in the same parking lot. the cops walked back to their cruiser and sat there a while. I walked up to the empty cooler the hot dog vendor man had left behind and noticed it was filled with sodas, waters and Ice. I though to my self.. "damn this guy tried to get away from the cops he left behin some of his profit. his drinks. I picked up the cooler and ran with it looking for the man.
in the distance I saw a shor man with a hat standing next to a mini van. as I got closer hauling the heavy cooler with the ice and drinks I noticed a lady with a baby in her arms and is when i realized that it was the mans wife and their child.
I said to him "here friend. I didnt want you to leave your drinks behind" He thanked me and told me that he had alreayd been arrested once for selling hot dogs. and that is the same cops who bust him and others around the allys in hollywood. He offered me to take anything from his cooler. I grabbed a water and he thanked me endlessly. I told him not to worry and that if he ever needed an eye for the cops to give me a call. I gave him my number and told him I hang around hollywood a lot and would love to help him.
I broke my heart to see him and his wife pretty much living out of their van with their kid. and it pissed me off even more when i went back to my friends and they wonder where I've been and when I told them... one of the girls was shocked that I assisted someone in braking the law. "he could of been selling drugs too!" she said. give me a fucking break!

ive seen la jura eating at hot dog stands and getting food from eloteros in east los and south central. hell one guy told me he knew the guys on a first name basis.

you should organize a protest and round up all the minorities that own hot dog stands or are just owners of small local businesses and then just get a big populace that agree's with you, then march down the streets of the "upper class" closing roads and such. Protest the unfair treatment to the struggling "lower class." make sure if you do this that you get your local antifa or RAAN organization in on it for protection against cops and nazi's. If you get it going i'll come down there and support it

This shit happens in Toronto's Chinatown as well, only with produce vendors. They are currently trying to gentrify Chinatown west in Toronto for tourism, and so-called social-democrat Olivia Chow is behind this 100%.
Maybe you can try a mass action, where you get all your comrades together and all sell hotdogs and give the profits to the people who need it, like the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP, a revolutionary anti-capitalist and direct action group here). Check out the article:
